Mercedes-Benz has updated its AMG GLC coupe line-up for the 2024 Model Year. Much like its SUV line-up, the AMG GLC coupes have ditched the V6 and V8 powertrains for a much more “subtle” inline-4 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. The coupes are available in two variants: GLC 43 & GLC 63 S E Performance.
The new Mercedes-AMG coupe SUVs are yet to arrive in the UAE. We can expect Mercedes-Benz to bring the AMG GLC 43 which could be priced at around AED 290,000. The more powerful AMG GLC 63 S E Performance could arrive at the end of next year and is expected to be priced at around AED 485,000.
2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe
The new AMG GLC 43 is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with a mild-hybrid system. This electric motor delivers an additional boost via the starter generator. The power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.

- Peak Torque: 500Nm
- 0 to 100km/h: 4.8 seconds
- Top Speed: 250km/h
The previous coupe model was powered by a 3.0-litre bi-turbocharged V6 engine producing 385hp. Interestingly, despite the increase in power, the acceleration time of both new and old models remains the same.
2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S E Performance Coupe
The 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S E Performance is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol inline-4 engine. As for the hybrid powertrain, the coupe uses a high-performance battery inspired by the F1 technology and a permanent synchronous electric motor. The hybrid powertrain uses a 9-speed automatic transmission to send power to all four wheels using the Merc’s 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system.

- Peak Torque: 554Nm
- 0 to 100km/h: 3.5 seconds
- Top Speed: 275km/h
