Top 10 Sports Cars To Buy In The UAE — Quick Accelerating & Dynamic Cars That Give You An Adrenaline Rush

The idea of owning a supercar or hypercar more often than not remains a dream for the vast majority of the car-buying population. However, one can get close to realising this dream by getting a sports car. In this DubiCars Guide, we list out the Top 10 Sports Cars To Buy In The UAE.

The term sports car was first used in the 1920s to describe two-seater roadsters that placed emphasis on dynamic driving abilities that include quick acceleration, handling that induces a grin on the driver’s face, and an overall enjoyable driving experience. They aren’t the most practical cars out there, but who cares about practicality when you’re having fun?

In this Top 10 list, we include sports cars that are either front, mid, or rear-engined. However, we have excluded cars that can be counted as supercars, grand tourers, hypercars, and even sports cars that aren’t road-legal and more racetrack-oriented.

10. Lotus Emira

One car replacing three existing cars in a car manufacturer’s portfolio is unheard of. However, the Lotus Emira did just that. Launched in 2021, the Lotus Emira will eventually replace the Lotus Evora, Exige and Elise. It is also touted to be Lotus’ last internal combustion-powered car. In terms of design, the Lotus Emira draws inspiration from the Lotus Evija high-performance electric sports car.

As a result, it is Lotus’ most stylish sports car yet. The base version of this sports car is powered by a 2.0-litre inline-4 turbo-petrol engine producing 360hp. It is also available with a Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre supercharged V6 producing 400hp. The fact that this can also be optioned with a manual transmission makes it all the more enticing.
