UAE petrol prices for February 2023 are AED 2.86 for EPlus 91, AED 2.93 for Special 95, and AED 3.05 for Super 98. The price of Diesel in the UAE is currently AED 3.38 per litre. These prices came into effect on 01 February 2023 and are expected to stay till the end of the month. Prices of petrol and diesel in the UAE change every month and new fuel prices in the UAE are expected to arrive in March 2023.
February 2023 saw the first fuel price hike in 2023 with a marginal increase compared to the prices of January 2023. January 2023 saw prices of petrol drop by AED 0.52 across all variants while the price of diesel decreased by AED 0.45. However, prices increased in February. Prices across different fuel stations across the UAE are similar and there are no differences.
While diesel prices in the UAE for February see an increase of just AED 0.09, petrol prices have increased by AED 0.27 across all variants. This, however, is only a marginal increase in prices and won’t really affect motorists across the country.

Getting a full tank of fuel for your car becomes more expensive by around Dh14 to Dh20. However, the per kilometre running costs do not increase by any significant margins. Despite the price increase, the new prices fall short of most of last year’s monthly prices.
This increase in fuel prices comes amidst an increase in the prices of crude oil. Prior to 2015, fuel prices were highly subsidised by the government, and this protected prices from fluctuating. However, in September 2015, it was liberalised to align with global oil prices. Fuel prices in the UAE are decided by the Fuel Price Committee and we can expect more changes over the next few months.
