Every car enthusiast dreams about owning a supercar to experience the ultimate thrill of driving. In 2014 this dream became even more desirable as two definitive Italian supercar brands launched their greatest creation. This week, we are pitting these two great supercars against each other on DubiCompare: Lamborghini Huracan vs Ferrari 488.
The Lamborghini Huracan succeeded the amazing Gallardo and went on to become another raging bull for the history books. On the other hand, the Ferrari 488 succeeded the 458, the greatest modern supercar from the brand. However, the 488 lived up to the standards until it was eventually taken off the shelf in 2019. While the Huracan continues to hit the roads from the factory, brand new.
For this comparison, we are considering the genesis of both cars. The very first edition of these two supercars. For Lamborghini, it is the Huracan LP 610-4. And for Ferrari, it is the 488 GTB.

Also, the Huracan feature an AWD drivetrain as compared to the RWD on the 488, adding to the Lambo’s weight. 75kg might not seem much, but in the world of supercars, it is a huge difference, which we will look at later speaking about the power-to-weight ratio.
